Pregnant? Scared? Lonely? Just gave birth and don’t know what to do?

Sometimes, a baby comes at a time you weren’t expecting—maybe you’re young, facing difficult circumstances, in a challenging relationship, or struggling financially. It’s normal to feel overwhelmed, scared, or unsure if you can care for your newborn.

You are not alone, and there are options. Under the Tennessee Safe Haven Law, you have the right to safely and confidentially surrender your unharmed newborn within 14 days of birth. You can do this without fear of prosecution or abandonment.

This law exists to give your baby a safe start in life and to provide you with a supportive choice in a difficult moment. You don’t have to face this alone.

At Hometown Health Clinic, you can surrender your baby secretly and confidentially at our McKenzie Main Clinic in the Secret Safe Place entrance of our Pediatrics department. The entrance is private so no one ever has to know that you were here. This service gives you the opportunity to choose LIFE for your baby. The choice was made to carry your baby to term. No matter the hardships you face, there is hope!

“You are Brave! You are Strong! You are Loved! Giving your baby a chance at life, is the greatest decision that you can make today.”
