Any Time, Day or Night, Patients Can Call
Sometimes medical situations arise but the need for treatment isn’t immediately clear. Perhaps the injury or illness doesn’t warrant a trip to the emergency room, but the primary care provider’s offices are closed. Patients simply need someone to help determine what type of care is best for their particular condition. Situations like these are why Hometown Health Clinic established our “Call First Program.”
Any time, day or night, patients can call and talk to a licensed nurse or HHC provider. They’ll not only be able to help decide if the emergency room or an urgent care center is the right place, but they can also schedule appointments for patients to be seen during clinic hours.
While some symptoms and situations warrant immediate action, it’s difficult to tell in the stress of the moment which action is the right one. Additionally, different ailments can cause different symptoms in men and women, making it even harder to decipher symptom checkers on the internet.
